Macy Lee Carter, 2-month-old daughter of Melvin Keith Carter and Jesica Michele Bass, went to be with Jesus Sunday, March 18, 2012.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 22, 2012, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Macy's short life at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Eureka Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, Macy is survived by her brother, Landon Ross Floyd; her sister, Summer English Carter; her maternal grandparents, Keith and Michele Bass; her paternal grandparents, Melvin and Ann Carter; her uncle, Kris Bass; her maternal great-grandparents, Hilda Bass, Edwin Bass, and Mary and Joe Sasser; and her brother, Josh Haley.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandmother and her namesake, Dorothy Lee Langston.
