NANNIE VICK JONES

Nannie Vick Goff Jones, 80, of Greensboro, passed on to be with her Lord and Savior on March 15, 2012, at Hospice House of High Point.

Funeral services will be held at 2 this afternoon, March 18, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service, 117 NW Third St., Snow Hill. Interment will follow at the Snow Hill Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 3, 1931, the oldest child of Arthur and Queen West. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

Nannie Vick is survived by her oldest daughter, Rhonda Trollinger and her husband, Phil of Greensboro; and daughter, Sylvia Johnson, of Youngsville; grandchildren, Ashley Black and Jenny Chilton both of Greensboro, Brian Johnson of Fremont, and Kristen Johnson of Holly Springs; great-grandchildren, Haley Chilton, Julie Chilton, Dallas Chilton, Skylar Black, Summer Black, and Melissa Johnson; brother, Ronald West of Stantonsburg; and sisters, Cleo McKeel of Stantonsburg and Judy Baxter of Virginia.

In addition to her parents, Nannie Vick was preceded in death by her brother, Mack; and sisters, Louise, Geraldine and Imogene.

The family will receive friends today at 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
