LOUIS J. HONRINE

Louis Junior Honrine, 86, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Home-going services will be held today at 6 p.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. A graveside service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Honrine was born in Sampson County on Jan. 21, 1926, to the late Johnny B. and Ethel Steed Honrine. He was a charter member of Goldsboro Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as past deacon, Sunday school superintendent and trustee of the church.

He leaves his precious memories to his son, Edward Lee Honrine and wife, Linda, of Faro; one daughter, Beulah Mae Honrine Wiggs and husband, Reverend Carroll Wiggs, of Spring Hope; two sisters, Gurley Honrine Quinn and Louise Honrine of Clinton; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Honrine was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Best Honrine.

The family will receive friends following the service at Howell Funeral Home and other times at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Linda Honrine, 1761 Faro Road in Stantonsburg.
