MINNIE F. HANKINS

Minnie Frances Hankins, 75, died Thursday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Born in Goldsboro, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Berry and Minnie Mae Mathews James, and the wife of the late L.D. Hankins.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with pastor Rick Mondell officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service.

Frances is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, James Barry and Kim Hankins of Goldsboro, Lloyd Darryl and Bettye Hankins of Purlear and Mike Allen and Heather Hankins of Trinity, and a daughter and son-in-law, Susan H. and Jack Berry of Cary.

She also has 10 grandchildren and 10 great-sgrandchildren.
