APEX -- Mildred Lucille Justice Taylor, 91, formerly of Goldsboro, peacefully went to be with her heavenly father Sunday, Nov. 27.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park, where the family will greet friends.

Viewing will be held at Howell Funeral Home Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Born June 5, 1920, in Warsaw to the late Henry and Beulah Justice.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. Taylor.

She retired from Dewey Brothers.

She was a member of Pine Forest Methodist Church in Rosewood (Goldsboro), the Methodist Women and Wayne County Home Demonstration Club.

She volunteered at Rosewood Elementary School in the reading program.

Her many talents included cooking, quilting, knitting/crocheting, sewing and ceramic doll making.

Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and John Grau of Apex, Sandra and Richard Maurer of Simpsonville, S.C., and Deborah and Ray Holloman of Pine Level; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank Angie Tucker, Mary Willetts, Gary and Gloria DeLiberto, Dr. Susan Crittenden and all the Wake County Hospice team for their care, compassion and love for Mother.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Wake County or Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
