MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. -- Curtis Samuel Mitchell, 66, formerly of Wayne County and Wilmington, passed away at his home in Merritt Island, Fla.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Living Waters Ministries, 1262 Pikeville-Princeton Road, Pikeville.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Mitchell and Hilda Smith Mitchell Howell, and a son, Clif D. Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Edwards Mitchell; a son, Samuel Curtis Mitchell; a daughter, Carmel Harrison; a sister, Marcia Mitchell; brothers, Darrell Mitchell and Bruce Mitchell; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
