KINSTON -- Vernon Patrick Gordon, 71, Kinston, passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011.
He was born in Lenoir County Jan. 2, 1940.
Survivors include daughters, Shannon Williams and husband, Michael, of LaGrange and Becky Jones and husband, John, of Goldsboro; son, Brad Gordon and wife, Shelby, of LaGrange; and grandchildren, Michaela and Miken Williams, Clay Jones, Alisha Gordon and Summer Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home in Kinston with Masonic rites. Burial will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Visitation will follow the funeral Tuesday at the funeral home, and at other times will be at 2516 Wesleyan Court in LaGrange.
