SEVEN SPRINGS -- Pearl Seymour Price, 77, Seven Springs, passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, surrounded by her loving family.
Pearl was born one of 13 children March 28, 1934, to the late Jasper and Mattie Carter Seymour.
Pearl was a lifetime member of Seven Springs Rescue Squad and a member of Seven Springs Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Pearl was an active member of Daly's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at 6 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Futrelle and the Rev. Todd Sutton officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery.
A devoted farmer's wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Pearl is survived by her husband of 62 years, Sidney Ray Price Sr.; four daughters, Belinda P. Westbrook and husband, Larry, of Albertson, Beverly P. Sutton and husband, Wayne, of Seven Springs, Pam Price of Seven Springs and Scarlette P. Rouse and husband, Gene, of Seven Springs; a son, Sidney R. Price Jr. and wife, JoAnne, of Seven Springs; three sisters, Bernice Zorn and husband, Roger, of Reno, Nev., Yvonne Parnell and husband, Bernice, of Goldsboro and LaVerne Fields of LaGrange; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and many special nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Malena Schimmel.
The family will receive friends Tuesday following the service, and at other times will be at the home.
