TARBORO -- Arthur Mooring Turner III, 76, died Monday.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Carlisle Funeral Home, with Dr. Phillip Deitz officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.
"Bo" was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Hood Turner; parents, Arthur and Lida Turner; and sisters, Joella Leggett and Joyce Gardner.
He is survived by his loving family, including sons, Arthur Mooring Turner IV "Chip" and wife, Allison, of Tarboro and John Martin Turner of Manteo; stepson, Graham Hood and wife, Vickie, of Warsaw; stepdaughter, Gayle Davis and husband, Jeff, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Kristen Headlee, Jennifer Staton, Brittany Turner, Kelsey Owens, Brooke Owens, Samantha Davis, Suzanne Mills, Angie Vestal and Chris Hood; and a special friend, Ginger.
The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and other times at the home of Chip and Allison Turner, 2003 Lancaster Drive, Tarboro.
