GILBERT DAVID WARREN

Gilbert David Warren, 59, passed away Sunday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Born in Manchester, Conn., he was the son of the late David and Beverly Conner Warren, and husband of In Tok Kim.

He served in the United States Navy for 22 years, and was a member of the Retired Navy Submariners, DAV, Goldsboro Coin Club and the Eat to Ride, Ride to Eat Gang.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Linda and Ian Benton of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Susan and Jeffrey Turnage of Goldsboro, and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tom Harper officiating.

The family will greet friends after the service at the home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be sent to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
