Douglas Carl Vaughn, 59, Goldsboro, passed away Sunday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was the son of the late Jake and Mary Lou Vaughn, and was married to the late Anita Vaughn.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his son, Gary Vaughn and wife, Michelle, of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Christy Vaughn and fiancé, Dwight, of Goldsboro; a sister, Kathy Labadie and husband, Joe, of San Antonio, Texas; and five grandchildren, Joshua Novak, Emily Vaughn, Chloe Novak, Camron Vaughn and Avery Vaughn
