PIKEVILLE -- Tamatha "Tami" Blizzard Hill, 44, departed this walk of life Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro, with visitation to follow. Burial will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Hill Family Cemetery.
Tami was born in Wayne County Feb. 6, 1967, to the late Joe and Ellen Blizzard.
She attended Free Gospel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, and was employed with Wayne Pharmacy.
She is survived by her husband, Matt Hill; a son, Tyler Dawson of Pikeville; two daughters, Ashley Dawson of Faison and fiancé, Justin Arnette, and Tessa Page of Pikeville; a brother, Buck Blizzard and wife, Jackie, of Pikeville; five sisters, Gayle Peele and husband, Billy R., of Belfast, Joan Smith of Pikeville, Ann Potter and husband, Charles, of Belfast, Laura Jones of Pikeville and Billie Jo Nakaahiki of Pikeville and fiancé, Thomas Paxton; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Blizzard.
