LOWELL WAYNE SIMS

COPPERAS COVE, Texas -- Retired Army Sergeant Lowell "Wayne" Sims passed away Friday, Sept. 2, at his home in Copperas Cove, Texas.
He was born in Paragould, Ark., son of the late Eldon Hubert and Maudie Belle Sims.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandii Lassiter and husband, Dean, of Pikeville and Caroyn Borel and husband, Clint, of Goldsboro; and four grandchildren, Sadie and Samuel Lassiter and Emily and Dillon Borel of Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Annette Sims, and a granddaughter, Sarah Lassiter.
The family will receive friends at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, Texas, Monday. Burial with full military honors will be Tuesday in Killeen, Texas.
