"It is well with my soul"

Jesse Cedric Mozingo, 74, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.

Public viewing will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, N.C.

An inspirational wake will be held Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m.

Weather permitting, funeral services will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at L.N. Forbes Tabernacle, 1800 Lane St. Ext., Wilson, N.C., with bishop J.N. Perry Jr. officiating and elder Ronnie Lewis as eulogist. He will be laid to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery in Goldsboro, N.C., following the repast. Should we have the severe hurricane, services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. An announcement will be made Friday at the end of the inspirational wake.

Jesse was born in Wayne county, and was the son of the late James and Lucille Mozingo.

He is survived by his wife, Sallie Ruth of 52 years; a son Cedric; five daughters, Movicia, Cynthia, Stachia, Sonya and Jackie; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Carolyn Mozingo of Goldsboro and Marilyn Reid of Pikeville; and a brother, Ronald Mozingo of Mount Wolf, Pa.

The family wishes to thank all the friends and family who have been there with their prayers and support.
