Larry Duane Horrell, 62, of Leland died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Horrell of Leland; son, Brian Duane Horrell and fiancee, Lauran Sasser of Goldsboro; daughter and son-in-law, Heather Horrell Smith and Joel Smith of Seven Springs; and three grandchildren, Taylor, Addison, and Easton Smith. Also, he is survived by a stepson, Marshall and Laura Malpass, and stepgranddaughter, Hailey Malpass; mother, Elma Boone; sister, Diane Summers; and brother, Sammy Horrell of Wilmington.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service Wilmington Chapel with Pastor Horace Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Harrells Community Cemetery in Harrells, N.C. Pallbearers will be Brian Horrell, Joel Smith, Ashley Newcomb, Travis Stafford, Alan Strickland and Todd Boykin.
The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
