PRINCETON -- Donald Edward "Sarge" Martin, 84, of Wellons-Boyette Road, died Thursday.
Born on June 21, 1927, in Habersham County, Ga., he was the son of the late Frank Webster and Mary Mirinda Dodgens Martin. He was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after serving over 22 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Princeton Baptist Church with the Rev. Duane Batten officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Princeton Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Maydeen Oliver Martin, one son and two daughters.
The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma tonight from 6 to 8 p.m.
