PRINCETON -- Lionel Marty Dudley II, 37, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011, at the University of North Carolina Hospital surrounded by his family.
Marty was born in Wayne County Feb. 2, 1974, to Lionel Martin Dudley and Joyce Ann Braswell Dudley.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 12, 2011, at 4 p.m. at Rosewood High School, with the Rev. Thomas McClendon and Rev. Dwayne Batten officiating.
Marty is survived by his wife, Kimberly W. Dudley; his daughters, Alexis Dudley and Cory Smith both of Princeton; his brother, Neil Dudley and wife, Patricia, of Goldsboro; his sister, Joy Dudley of Princeton; his nieces, Lauren and Kayla Dudley; and a special friend, Del Lockamy of Grantham.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Oakland Fire Department at 674 Oakland Church Road, Princeton, N.C., 275569, or Rosewood Church of God at 100 Tower Lane, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 12, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Rosewood High School.
