PRINCETON -- Karen Elaine Leacox Scheu, 73, Rains Crossroads Road, Princeton, died Thursday morning at SECU Hospice House.
She was born Nov. 22, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Kenneth Virgil Leacox and Lola Brockway Leacox Kisner.
She is survived by a very special friend, Cliff Stevens; daughters, Julie Stevens Carter and husband, Wayne, of Kenly and Jill Stevens Sullivan and husband, Ronnie, of Princeton; sons, Kenny Stevens and wife, Kathy, of Pikeville, Barry Stevens and wife, Ginger, of White Lake and Walter Scheu Jr. and wife, Ashley, of High Point; brother, Ralph Leacox and wife, Brenda, of Jackson, Mich.; grandchildren, Dwayne Carter, Sarah Carter, Jamie Sullivan, Daniel Sullivan, Kelli Sullivan, Clifton Stevens, Tyler Stevens, Tanner Stevens, Melissa Stevens, Christopher Stevens, Bailey Scheu, Reagon Scheu, Christian Scheu, Savannah Scheu; and great-grandchildren, Natalie, Kadence, Mason, Zoey, Breven and Lil' Ronnie.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 10, at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton, and at other times at the home of Jill and Ronnie Sullivan.
