EDWARD E. BUFF

Edward Eugene "Ed" Buff, 62, of Mount Olive, passed away Wednesday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service for family and close friends will be held on Tuesday evening at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Cynthia Williams officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Chive N. and Lala F. Buff. Mr. Buff was a United States Army veteran and was an auto mechanic for over 30 years.
Mr. Buff is survived by Bobbie, his wife of 43 years; a daughter, Teresa Buff White of Mount Olive; two sons, Michael Buff and wife, Tamera, of Mount Olive, and Chachi Torres of Mount Olive; a brother, Tony Buff of Tacoma, Wash.; six grandchildren, Jordan, Seth, Zachary, Reva Leanne, Ramon, and Ashley; and three special grandchildren, Dillon, Travis, and Gloria.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Calypso Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 321, Calypso, NC 28325 or Central Children's Home of North Carolina, 211 W. Antioch Drive, Oxford, NC 27565-6990.
