EULA MAE PIERCE

Eula Mae Pierce, 70, passed away Thursday at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, S.C.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Ira Williford officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. Visitation will be today from 3 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born on July 31, 1940, in Clearwater Fla., to the late John Lester Powell and Lovie Walker Powell and was the wife of the late Fitzhugh Pierce.

She was a member of United in Christ Church of Goldsboro.

She is survived by her sons, William Dean Ivey and Donnie Ray Ivey; her daughter, Sandra Mae Ridlehoover; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Clara Worrell and brothers, Junior Powell and Robert Powell.
