Mrs. Helen James, 704 Pittman St., passed away Tuesday morning at her residence.
She was reared in Wayne County, where she attended Goldsboro Public Schools.
A viewing will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A service of remembrance will be held Saturday at 12 noon at Greater St. John Church in Dudley, N.C. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. James is survived by her children, siblings, grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m., and at other times at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
