MAURY -- Ruth Hood Hardy, 89, died Friday at home.
Funeral will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday at Brooks Frizzelle United Methodist Church in Maury by the Rev. Nina Paul Vinson. Interment will follow in Maury Cemetery.
Mrs. Hardy was the daughter of the late Robert and Louise B. Hood of Grantham and the wife of the late James H. Hardy Sr. She is survived by two sons.
Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m. today at Farmville Funeral Home.
