LAGRANGE -- Orvis Franklin "Paintman" Whaley, 85, died Wednesday.
Funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with pastor Rusty Conyers officiating. Interment will be at Snow Hill Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Jones County to the late J.H. "Tobe" Whaley and Prudie Adams Whaley. He was married to Mildred Kennedy Whaley.
He is survived by two children.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times the family will be at the home.
