Maggie Wells Toler, 90, of Macclesfield and formerly of Fremont, died Friday, March 18, 2011.
Funeral will be today at 6 p.m. at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting. Burial will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Hastings Cemetery in Rosewood.
Surviving are her daughters, Rachel Ruffin of Whitakers, Jean Summerlin (Albert Ray) of Macclesfield; son, Rev Billy Toler (Margie) of Elm City; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Toler; daughters, Annette Sasser and Linda McSwain; parents, Luther and Fronie Strickland Wells; sisters, Bessie Wells and Ruth Wells; brothers, Alex, Leaman and Harvey Wells.
