Nelson W. Thomas, 72, died Wednesday at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Center in Winston-Salem.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
He was married to Orva Thomas and is survived by six children.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
