SEVEN SPRINGS -- Lonnie Moore Draper Jr., 68, Seven Springs, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, with his family by his side.
Lonnie was born Sept. 6, 1942, in Newport News, Va., to the late Lonnie Moore Draper Sr. and Cassie McDonald Draper.
A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with Luby Outlaw and Leslie Pittman officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Westview Cemetery.
Lonnie is survived by his wife of 18 years, Etta Hardy Draper; three children; three grandchildren; a sister; and a brother.
The family will receive friends Tuesday following the service of remembrance, and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Taylor, 6411 N.C. 55 west in Kinston.
