PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Retired Air Force Col. W.L. "Bill" Dixson, 93, died peacefully at home at OakBridge Terrace, Azalea Trace, Tuesday.
He was born Sept. 28, 1917, to William Lee and Gertrude Knight Dixson in Jacksonville, Fla. He was married to the late Eleanor Dixson and the late Julia Bizzell Robinson.
He is survived by a daughter.
Rose Lawn Funeral Home of Gulf Breeze is in charge of arrangements.
