James Michael Rowe, 47, 552 Ditchbank Road, passed Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel, with elder Doris Lassiter officiating. He will be laid to rest in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 24, 1963, to Luby Rowe Sr. and the late Mary Louise Rowe.
Micheal was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Rowe, and his brother, Samuel Fitzgerald Rowe.
Michael, as he was known by family and friends, leaves precious memories with his father, Luby Rowe Sr.; three sisters, Arletha Thompson, Shirley (Jimmy) Carraway and Linda (David) Moore all of Goldsboro; two brothers, Luby (Melanie) Rowe Jr., of Kansas and Andra (Laura) Rowe of Pink Hill; three nieces; five nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing held Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel, and the family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
A sympathetic and dignified service entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
