Richard Benjamin Nash Sr., 78, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at his home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in the Adamsville Baptist Church in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Snow Hill Cemetery.
Richard was born Oct. 20, 1932, in Greene County to William A. Nash and Lottie Mae Eakes Nash. He served in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1979. He was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Tsuneko F. "Judy" Nash; their son, Richard B. Nash Jr.; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Tucker and husband, Wade, of Kinston; brothers, Jimmy R. Nash and wife, Pat, of Fountain, and Roy G. Nash and wife, Edna, of Rocky Mount; and a sister-in-law, Barbara "Lewis" Nash, of Snow Hill.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
