PIKEVILLE — Timmie Keith Raper, 60, of Pikeville, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Minshew-Coley Funeral Home. Burial will follow Saturday at 11 a.m. in Kenly Cemetery, with the Rev. Barry Stallings officiating.
Mr. Raper was born in Wilson County Nov. 19, 1950, to the late Arthur and Lucille Barnes Raper.
He was employed with Commercial Trucking as a truck driver.
He was a dedicated member of the Sons of the Legion, Squadron #13, in Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Jones Raper of the home; a son, Chris Jones of Pikeville; two daughters, Renee’ Raper Parrish and Jessica Raper both of Pikeville; five grandchildren, Hunter Jones, Hannah Jones, LeeAnne Parrish, Grayson Parrish and Mikylie Parrish; five brothers; and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by a son, Timmie Keith Raper II.

The family will receive friends following the service Friday.
