COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Mr. Carl Ray Smith, 57, 1865 Richtree Road, Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Goldsboro, passed Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at his home.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Philadelphia Community Church, with pastor Roger Taylor officiating. He will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park North.
He was born Oct. 17, 1953, to Earl Smith and the late Doris Thomas.
He leaves precious memories with his father, Earl Smith; his wife, Jacqueline Smith; two children, Saria Smith and Marcus (Tisha) Smith.
There will be an inspirational wake from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel. At other times, the family will be receiving friends at the home of Mrs. Annie Gray at 315 N. Virginia Ave.
A sympathetic and dignified service entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
