PIKEVILLE -- Jimmy M. Rose, 83, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Bethel Church, 2308 N. William St., Goldsboro, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Pikeville Cemetery.
Jimmy served in the United States Navy, and was a retired auto mechanic.
He served proudly in Pikeville-Pleasant Grove Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of Bethel Church for more than 42 years.
Surviving are his wife, Faye Lamm Rose; daughters, Phyllis Ginn (Phil) and Dianne Peele (David) both of Pikeville, Heidi Raper (Kemp) and Marsha Parrish (Don) both of Black Creek and Tommy Cifers (Tim) of Kitrell; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
