FREEMAN "ROGER" CRIBBS

KINSTON -- Freeman "Roger" Cribbs, 64, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at the Veterans Hospital in Durham, N.C.
He was born Dec. 27, 1945.
He was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Kinston, and in the past, he was very active in Boy Scout Troop No. 392, was a member of Kinston Seniors Dance Club and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Bonnie Harris Cribbs of the home; his children, Kim Sanders, David Cribbs and Michael Cribbs all of Florida and Matt Daughtry of Charlotte; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tim and Brenda Harris of Clinton; and his mother-in-law, Joyce Harris of Clinton.
A homegoing service will be held Wednesday evening, Dec. 8, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. at Faith Fellowship Church, 2278 Pauls Path Road, Kinston, with Dr. Randy Spaugh officiating.
In his memory, the family requests no flowers, but memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of North Carolina, 1305 Navaho Drive, Suite 101, Raleigh, N.C., 27609.
Garner Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
