MOUNT OLIVE -- Jerry Lee Melton, 70, died Wednesday evening at Johnston Health Services in Smithfield.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.
Mr. Melton was born to the late Joseph and Sadie Bell Melton.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie Allen Melton and four children.
Visitation will be today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
