MOUNT OLIVE -- Lina Belle Davis Pate, 80, passed away Monday afternoon at Wake Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, from the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home, with visitation immediately following. The burial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Frank Harrison officiating.
Friends and relatives are being received at the residence at 193 N.C. 403 west in Rones Chapel community.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen R. "Dink" Pate of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn P. and Dero Burroughs of Mount Olive; a granddaughter, Brandi Burroughs-Hamm and husband, Pee Dee Hamm, of Mount Olive; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Elton Ray and Teresa Davis and J. Michael "Mike" and Bernice Davis all of Mount Olive; her nieces, Brenda Hall Wiggins of Goldsboro, Kelly Davis Guy and husband, Chris, and Ashley Davis Graham and husband, Elliott, and their families all of Mount Olive; and her nephews, Nolan Davis, Lance Davis and Preston Grantham also of Mount Olive.
Mrs. Pate was preceded in death by a son, Dwight Stephen Pate; her parents, Bud and Carrie Rogers Davis; and a sister, Emily Davis Hall.
