Annie Dorothy Wells Futrelle, 78, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Dorothy was born in Greene County July 8, 1932, to the late Floyd W. Wells and Eunit Mae Radford Wells.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Sam Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Dorothy is survived by her two brothers, Billy Ray Wells and wife, Lorraine, of Kinston and Jerry Walker Wells and wife, Margaret, of Goldsboro; her sister, Patricia Wells Fowlkes and husband, Bill, of Garner; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and her husband, Paul B. Futrelle, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carlene Wells Shirley.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center at 107 Handley Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Jerry and Margaret Wells at 1301 W. New Hope Road in Goldsboro.
