CALEB JONES MADDOX
March 9, 1933-Oct. 13, 2010 Caleb Jones Maddox, 77, died peacefully in his sleep.
A memorial will be planned.
He was well-loved and he loved life -- his family, dear friends, his work, golf, music, learning and laughter.
He proudly served his country in the Unites States Army and was an avid University of North Carolina Tar Heel alumnus. He often asked, "If God is not a Tar Heel, why is the sky Carolina blue?"
He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 48 years, Peggy Heater Maddox; his loving children, Mark Maddox, Kelly Maddox and husband, Steve Kuhn, Matthew Maddox and wife, Cindy Maddox; and grandchildren, Emma Maddox, Caleb Thornton Maddox, Harper Kuhn and Willa Kuhn.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MD Anderson Cancer Research Center or the Alzheimer's Association.
