Betty West Parker, 72, passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Betty was born in Wayne County Feb. 23, 1938, to the late Ben H. West and Edna Sauls West.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Greenville Ward.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery, with brother Herman Jenkins officiating.
Betty is survived by her husband, William M. "Billy" Parker; her daughter, Kelly Overby and husband, Larry, of Goldsboro; her sons, Matt Parker of Greenville, Ben Parker and fiancee´, Tracy Revell of Four Oaks and Neil Parker and wife, Paula, of Ayden; her three grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild; six stepgreat-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law; Fred West and wife, Anne, of Raleigh; and her two nieces.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
