PHILADELPHIA, PA. -- Elbert Lee Davis, formerly of Goldsboro, passed away Sept. 17, 2010, in Philadelphia, Pa. His funeral service was held at Choice Funeral Home in Philadelphia Sept. 21.
He was the son of the late Jesse Davis and the late Mollie Davis Credit, and a graduate of Dillard High School class of 1953.
Elbert was the father of Rodney Parks and Gary Davis both of Goldsboro.
He is also survived by his sisters, Lucille D. Beale of Philadelphia and Willie Anderson of Dover, Pa.; his niece Marian D. Murray, of Faison; and other family and friends.
