Ethel Newkirk, 89, 720 W. Oak St., died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ, with bishop Alton Smith officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born July 24, 1921, to the late Soloman Newkirk and Annie Edwards.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home.
