Bobby Carroll, 70, formerly of Duplin County, died Wednesday at University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
Funeral will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home chapel in Rose Hill Sunday at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Janice Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Maxwell Cemetery in Rose Hill.
He was married to Gertrude Carroll of Durham.
He is survived by eight sons and eight daughters.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
