Walter L. Goldberry, 77, of Margrettsville, formerly of Fremont, died Wednesday at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at The Greater Rising Star Baptist Church in Branchville, Va. Interment will follow in The Greater Rising Star Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 4 until 7 p.m., and a family visitation will be held from 7 until 8 at The Hood Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 409 E. Main St., Conway.
