MOUNT OLIVE -- Henry Elliott, 70, Mount Olive, N.C., passed away Aug. 30, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
He was the son of the late James Henry and Annie King Elliott.
Left to cherish his memory and continued love of family are his sister, Linda Elliott Walters (Desmon), of Bronx, N.Y.; brothers, James E. Elliott of New York, Dr. Thomas A. Elliott (Vardreane) of Richmond, Va., Albert Elliott (Florrie) of Bronx, N.Y., and Reginald D. Elliott of Keneohe, Hawaii.
Three brothers who predeceased the departed include Ralph, Wendell and Leroy Elliott.
He is also survived by two uncles, Andrew Elliott of Philadelphia, Pa., and David Elliott of New York, N.Y. Additionally left to grieve the departed are several nieces, nephews and other cousins and friends.
Family and friends will gather at Garris Funeral Home chapel, 812 S. Center St. in Mount Olive, N.C., Friday evening, Sept. 3, 2010, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Garris Funeral Home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Carver Memorial Park in Mount Olive, N.C.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Mary King Taylor, 213 Franklin St., Mount Olive.
