ROSE HILL -- Ellen Marie Stroud Evans, 84, died Saturday in Decatur, Ala.
Funeral will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Community Funeral Home chapel in Rose Hill. Burial will be in Concord Church Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 25, 1925, in Lenoir County to the late Macon and Carrie Potter Stroud. She was married to the late Thurman Evans.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters.
Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 9 at Community Funeral Home.
