BURLINGTON -- Bobby Earl Morris died Aug. 24 at the University of North Carolina Hospitals.
Bobby served in the United States Army.
He was a loving father, whom his daughters looked up to as a hero.
Survivors include his daughters, Teresa Walker (Garth) of Elon, Sandra Hooker of Gibsonville and Kimberly Morris of Wilmington; sisters, Frances Brown and Brenda Beaty; grandchildren, Matt Hooker and Anna Walker; and his loving companion, Snoopy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richmond H. Morris and Agnes Stroud Morris; brothers, Needham Morris, John D. Morris and James P. Morris; and sister, Virginia Mason.
A memorial service honoring Bobby's life was held Aug. 27 in Graham.
