VICKIE COOLEY FAYNE

PIKEVILLE -- Vickie Cooley Fayne, 64, Ivey Lane, passed away Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Alamance County, and the wife of Joseph "Joe" R. Fayne, who survives.
Survivors include her husband of the home; daughter, Ceretha "Cissy" Ashley of Pikeville, N.C.; sons, William Carden of Chapel Hill, N.C., Calvin Eugene Parrish of Kernersville, N.C., and Jeffrey Lynn Parrish of Pikeville, N.C.; stepdaughters, Debra Penley of Burlington, Barbara Millikan and Laura Dabbs both of Snow Camp, N.C.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd David and Virginia Sykes Cooley.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Lowe Funeral Home chapel, by Dr. Jesse Croom, and the burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
