CLAYTON -- Lillian Chevele Singleton, 42, of 623 Lockwood Drive, died Thursday at UNC Hospital.
Born in Sampson County, she was the daughter of James Singleton II and the late Lillian Baggett Singleton.
A celebration of life service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Western Assembly Building, Newton Grove, with the Rev. Fernando Geddy officiating. Burial will follow at Cobbs Cemetery.
A viewing will be held today from 3 until 7 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be present from 6 until 7 p.m. to receive friends, and at other times they will receive friends at 2646 Giddensville Road, Faison.
