JOYCE MOZINGO BROCK

GREENVILLE -- Mrs. Joyce Mozingo Brock, 77, died Tuesday.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Brock, a native of Wayne County, lived her early life in Mount Olive and Goldsboro. In 1956 she married Leavy Brock Sr. and she spent the next 20 years traveling with him while he served in the United States Air Force, settling in Greenville in 1969. In Greenville she worked part-time at the Daily Reflector for several years and later worked at Sab Nife for five years. A loving mother and grandmother, Mrs. Brock enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leavy Brock Sr., parents, Lettis and Lona Lane Mozingo, and siblings, Margie M. Heydt, Grace M. Woods, Doris Jean Eisaman, William and Edward Mozingo.

She is survived by her sons, Leavy Brock Jr. and wife, Kathy, of Greenville, Clayton Eugene Brock and wife, Bessie, of Winterville, and Tim W. Brock and wife, Erin, of Lewisville; grandchildren, Lyndsey Brock, Hunter Little and wife, Jenna, and Ethan Cole Brock and Evan Patrick Brock; brothers, Mike and Jimmy Mozingo; special brother-in-law, Bob Woods, of Greenville; aunt, Lillian Weeks, of Mount Olive; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Nikki, Allie and all the staff of University Home Health and Hospice, and Angela, Amanda, Porsche and all the staff of Comfort Keepers for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Brock.
