MILTON R. SMITH
Nov. 29, 1940 - April 5, 2010
Milton Richard "Scace," "Wormy" Smith, 69, of Grantham passed away Monday at his residence.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Ashley and Elosie Smith, and was married to Barbara W. Smith.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with pastor Steve Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park on Friday at 11 a.m.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Smith is survived by two sons, Allen Smith and wife, Trish, of Goldsboro and Dan Crawford and wife, Christy, of Mount Olive; two daughters, Shelia McCullen and husband, Danny, of Goldsboro and Connie Smith of Dudley; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Family members will greet friends Thursday following the service.
