BENSON -- Anthony Keith Carlton, 48, died Friday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at a location to be announced later. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Carlton was born in Wayne County on June 28, 1961, to the late Leo and Irene Goodman Royal.
He is survived by one son; two daughters and one step-daughter.
A viewing will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
Arrangements are being handled by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
